With so much to choose from, and some real bargains to be found, I'd thoroughly recommend trying out eBay for jewellery. Not only will you be pleasantly surprised, you will also save a lot of money!
Now I know from the month of testing I've done that the quality can sometimes drop from piece to piece (a gem falling out for example) but these are easily fixable and shouldn't discourage you from trying different sellers or different products.
Below are a few pieces that are on my wishlist:

The after!

So after this month's haul, I can say confidently that I have a pretty large jewellery collection now! But doesn't it look super pretty?
However, as I'm moving house soon I thought I'd post a "before and after" of my jewellery collection, and any pieces that I don't wear (or probably won't wear) will go to my blog sale!

The before!

The item I am using to hang my longer and larger necklaces was bought from Primark for around £6 or so. It's velvet and is basically a hanger with hooks. However, I was cautious to buying this because most of the ones in store were already broken! So I don't know how much life is left in this one...good thing I'm lightening the load!

I do use some mint blue storage boxes I bought last Christmas from Sainsbury's in their home sale. They're lovely wooden boxes with a white lace trimming on the larger pieces. They're very sturdy and not to mention cute!

Rings, delicate pieces and studs (box: Sainsbury's £6 roughly)

Main jewellery box (Sainsburys, £8 roughly)

Bracelets, necklaces and large bracelets

Yep...there was a lot!

So most of these are from eBay, but other brands which I highly recommend for stylish budget items are H&M, Primark and New Look - who always have items on sale!

eBay can be great for affordable pieces of jewellery with fairly reliable quality, if you're prepared to wait the 3 or 4 weeks for it to arrive!

My First MAC Cosmetics Haul!

MAC Lustre Lipstick and Creamblend Blush

Shades: Plumful and Ladyblush 

I finally found a MAC counter at a local Debenhams in Bristol where I've been for the past week or so. I must admit, the lipstick testers were in pretty bad shape, but I managed to pull over a sales assistant who helped me find my perfect natural lipstick and blush!

I ended up with a Lustre lipstick in Plumful and a cream blush in Ladyblush. I must say, the lipstick is a perfect mid opacity lipstick for everyday wear, and the cream blush is super creamy, and blends very well - great for my dry skin too!

So worth the investment and I got a 10% off voucher for my next purchases at Debenhams too!

I probably won't see a MAC counter again for a long time due to where I normally live, but I definitely can't wait until I'm back at a MAC counter again! x

I Heart Makeup Haul

I had to jump on the bandwagon and see what I Heart Makeup was all about. They are a sister company to Makeup Revolution, who are doing amazingly well with their cheap and fairly decent quality products, so I hope the same result fairs with these guys! It kind of reminds me of the collaboration between Fashionista and MUA. 

I really wanted to try the Blushing Hearts baked blushers s as they seem to be a dupe for the Too Faced baked hearts blushers - which are seriously cute! They swatch well and give a lovely shimmer to the face. 

The Wow gloss (in Scarlet) design is amazing - so unique! It's flat and slightly curved, which is very satisfying to hold in your hands (weird I know...) However, at first glance I knew I was not going to like the applicator, as it is very thin. However, the colour pay-off was very good, and wasn't that sticky either.

Lastly, the My Lips lipstick in Heart attack. This looked interesting, with a matte/satin outer layer with a shimmer core, in a cute heart shape. Applying this was quite difficult in that it wasn't smooth at all, and it was rather drying on my lips. I prefer smooth, creamy lipsticks, so not a fan of this at all. 

So overall, I like the Blushing Hearts range, but I'll need to compare these with the Too Faced versions to gage how well they've done, and the Wow Gloss is pretty cool, but I'm afraid I'm not liking the lipstick :( x
