Cheeky post-exam shopping

So I was tired from my exam, and it had been quite a hot day, so my hayfever symptoms were kicking off (runny nose, itchy eyes - the works!). Anyway, I decided to go the mini shopping centre near Campus, and pick up some hayfever tablets, which are SO expensive! It's like £4 for 7 tablets or something!? Luckily, my keen eye for a bargain led me to Wilkinsons where I found some hayfever and allergy relief tablets for 88p - containing the same ingredients as the more expensive brands, and so far, they've been working pretty well.
I then found a few more bargains, including cotton pads (very cheap at 50p each, and large - great for removing makeup) sweet vanilla & honey hand-wash and fruity berry smoothie shower gel - reduced to 70p or so, which I will be taking on my travels this summer.
Next I found some of the Garnier Ultimate Blends shampoo and conditioners (smaller ones) on sale for 2 for £3. I currently LOVE the brown-coloured bottles (the moisture ones which I can't remember the name of :-/). I've tried the Dove oil blend range and it only really worked for one wash. I have seriously dry, frizzy hair, so I definitely like to put the claims made by haircare brands to the test! I'm also planning on a huge review of the Charles Worthington moisture care range - of which I have tried most products.
I then grabbed a Milky-way bar...because chocolate. ^_^

I then went to Tesco to see if there was anything interesting I could possible have for dinner and I stumbled across the Vidal Sassoon "tangle free hot air styler" for around £10-12. I've been reading Miss Budget Beauty's review on her hot air styler, so I thought I'd give this a try (hers is a different, slightly more expensive brand).
Now, I don't like heat on my hair at all, because it becomes so dry and frizzier than normal. That means I barely use straighteners, or curlers, and I let my hair dry naturally, so no blow-drying either. But I definitely need something to tame my hair, especially as styling creams and some oils make my hair very greasy (I know, I have one of the worst situations ever!). So with nothing working for me so far, this seemed like a good choice - a combination of drying and styling at lower than normal temperatures.
Now for the price, I don't think I could have got anything that was ceramic/ionic, in order to tame frizz, so I picked up the Organix Argan oil of Morroco weightless reviving dry oil. This product says to apply to towel-dried hair after washing, and before blow-drying, in order to lock in the moisture. So we'll see if this works!
Organix has been on my mind all week actually, because I've heard so many mixed reviews. Some say it's not natural at all and it's an expensive gimmick, and some say it's changed their hair dramatically.
One thing's for sure- I want to see for myself! (Cue Superdrug 1/3 off Organix hair products haul...).

Thanks for reading x
