Superdrug mega haul!

Firstly, shampoo and conditioner: this month I wanted to try new brands- Organix especially (see my last post here about Organix and haircare). Now, I have dry, frizzy hair, and I don't like styling with heat, so all I can do is try to find a good range of haircare products.
So to begin with, I'm going to experiment with new brands, and some include Superdrug extracts, John Freida and Organix - hence why I've got minis to test! I'm currently enjoying the Garnier Blends range (sleek, brown bottles), which are great and make my hair soft, slightly less frizzy (even after hair oil) but leave my hair quite greasy after a day or too - especially at the roots. I've heard mix reviews of Organix, but full posts will come shortly - including a special post on the Charles Worthington moisture range!

Next is a random mix of travel items for my trips away (containers, Dove deodorant,  St Ives face scrub, simple face wash and face wipes/tissues), and bits and bobs including mouth wash, vapour rub (hayfever is messing with my sinuses!), Guiness luxury chocolate bar (actually from the 99p store) and Little Miracles natural energy drink for my exam on the 16th. All cheap and do the job they're meant to do - even though most of the minis and wipes aren't the brands that I normally use at home. (I mainly use Organic Surge face wipes and face wash, and The Body Shop's Aloe gentle face scrub.)

In terms of makeup, Superdrug has 3 for 2 on Bourjois, so I collected 3 more Rouge Velvets which I love! Here are my review of some other shades. Also, if you bought three Bourjois items, you got a free pair of sunglasses - win!
Normally I hate lip lacquers, because they're so drying, but Bourjois' last so long and my lips don't flake away, so collecting all of them was a must (well, that's what I keep telling myself...).
I came back home and found out that I already had the red shade Hot Pepper, so I need to go and swap that for a new one *fail*.
I also picked up the new Gosh Lip Colours in 08 Dangerous Lips (red) and 06 Funky Lips (pink). These are cute and are similar to the Bourjois lacquers, but I will have to see which turn out better!
Lastly, the MUA undress your skin foundation in Golden was reduced to £3 so I thought I'd give it a go. They have a very limited shade range, but I think Golden was the darkest of around 3 testers they had there, but it does blend out quite nicely to suit my NC35-ish skin tone.

I decided to test the coverage of the foundation against the lacquer swatches after they had been wiped away with a tissue (the number of pink stains on my arm...jeez...). Anyway, here is the result:

The foundation is quite sheer, quite sparkly and a little orange for me. But it's covered the stain quite nicely, and feels very light when I tried it on my face (blending with fingers). I could actually see myself using this :)

Anyways, that's my haul! Time to massage my arms from all the heavy lifting I've done today ><
Thanks for reading x
